  The Chamber/Travel & Tourism Committee participate in state & regional co-op advertisements, brochure distribution, county maps and brochures, trade shows, etc...

  Spring Arts Festival, Mt. Mitchell Crafts Fair, Music on the Square, Olde Timey Fall Festival, Open House, Christmas Parade.
  
• Scholarship & Scholars Luncheon
  The chamber gives two $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors. A luncheon is sponsored to honor the NC Scholars.
  
• Regional & State Involvement
  Members of U.S. Chamber of Commerce, CACCE, AMEC, Blue Ridge Mountain Host - regional marketing organization, Blue Ridge Parkway Association, NC Travel Council.
  
• Local Initiatives
